There are almost 100 parks in Bellevue, with a broad range of amenities and features,
including indoor pools, lakefront beaches, community centers, golf courses, skate plazas, nature trails, indoor tennis courts and a boat launch. The city also coordinates lessons for many sports from tennis to swimming to golf, and coordinates youth and adult leagues for several sports.
The city is home to major weekend events, including a regionally famous arts and crafts fair, the Strawberry Festival, the Seafair Marathon and the 24-Hour Relay.
Seasonal events include Magic Season downtown, the Family 4th at Downtown Park and the Wild'n'Woolly Sheep Shearing Event and Kelsey Creek Farm Fair, both at Kelsey Creek Farm Park. The Recreation and Events page tells you what events are coming soon.
People can pick their own strawberries and blueberries or buy other produce at the Mercer Slough Blueberry Farm or the Larsen Lake Blueberry Farm. Fresh produce is also available at the Lake Hills Greenbelt Produce Stand or the Bellevue Farmers Market.
