Northeast 12th Street Bridge Detour The state Department of Transportation will replace the Northeast 12th Street bridge over Interstate 405 with a wider one that will include a trail separated from traffic for cyclists and pedestrians. Beginning in late February, two of four lanes and one sidewalk on the existing bridge will be closed for two years, during construction of the new bridge. Bicyclists, pedestrians and drivers should use the Northeast 10th Street Bridge or other routes. WSDOT "Braids" project

Downtown Bellevue Bike Rack map : Secure bike parking throughout downtown. Indoor bike parking and a spacious restroom for changing clothes can be found in the Rider Services Building at the Bellevue Transit Center (Northeast Sixth Street between 108th and 110th avenues). To activate a traffic signal when on a bike You don't have to push a pedestrian button to get a traffic signal to change for you on your bike. Stop on the "X" mark or on the image of a bicycle painted onto the pavement to change the signal. If you encounter a signal that does not change for you, make an online transportation maintenance request or call the Signal Shop at 425-452-6950.
